Introduction Programme: Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 19 September 2026

In these terms, the referring client is the existing or past client who makes an introduction, and the introduced client is the person or business they introduce.

1. Eligibility.

Only existing and past clients of Ametrine Studios who have completed a paid package can act as a referring client.

2. Making an introduction.

The referring client must tell us about the introduction before the introduced client books, with the introduced client's name and business. If the introduced client has paid a deposit before the introduction is made, no credit can be claimed and the booking is not treated as a referral.

3. Qualifying introductions.

An introduction qualifies only if the introduced client is not a current or past client and has not enquired with Ametrine Studios in the last 12 months. If we have received an enquiry from them within that time, they are not treated as an introduced client and no credit applies.

4. Introduction window.

An introduction is valid for 6 months from the date the referring client tells us. If the introduced client hasn't booked and paid their deposit within that time, it lapses and can't be claimed.

5. Attribution.

If more than one referring client introduces the same person, credit goes to the first introduction we received.

6. Credit value.

Credit is 20% of the introduced client's first booking value, up to a maximum of £500 per introduction. First booking value means the fees the introduced client pays to Ametrine Studios for their first package, excluding VAT and third-party costs. For monthly services, credit is calculated on the first month's fee.

7. When credit is issued.

Credit is issued to the referring client once the introduced client's package is complete and payment has been received in full.

8. When credit isn't issued.

If the introduced client's package is cancelled, terminated or not completed, for any reason and by either party, or if any of the introduced client's payments are outstanding, refunded or reversed, no credit is issued to the referring client. Credit is not issued in part or in proportion to work done or payments made. Credit already issued is withdrawn if a payment by the introduced client is later refunded or reversed.

9. Combining credit.

There's no limit to the number of introductions a referring client can make. Each qualifying introduction earns its own credit, and a referring client's credits can be combined.

10. Using credit.

A referring client can apply credit to any Ametrine Studios service by requesting it at booking. A maximum of £500 in credit can be applied to any single package. Any remaining balance stays available for future packages until each credit's expiry date. Credit can only be applied to a package booked after the credit is issued, not to a package already booked or in progress. Credit can't be used against monthly retainers or third-party costs such as Wix plans or ad spend.

11. Payment when credit is applied.

The standard deposit is paid upfront as normal. Credit is then deducted from the remaining balance, which is divided equally across the remaining payments. Where credit is more than half of the package price, the package price minus credit is due upfront as a single payment. Where credit covers the package in full, no deposit is due, and all other project terms apply as normal. For services paid in full upfront, the price minus credit is due at booking.

12. Standard terms apply.

Any package paid for in whole or in part with credit is subject to our standard project terms and conditions, including timelines, payment stages, revisions, pauses, cancellation and refunds. Credit is treated as payment towards the package for the purposes of those terms. If a package paid for with credit is cancelled within 24 hours of booking, the credit is reinstated with its original expiry date. After that, it is forfeited.

13. Expiry.

Each credit is valid for 12 months from its own date of issue, after which it lapses in full.

14. Non-transferable. Credit belongs to the referring client who earned it and can be used on packages for the referring client's own business, or for another business they own. The package must be booked and paid for by the referring client. It can't be transferred, gifted, sold or applied to a project for any person or business the referring client doesn't own, including a friend's or family member's. If the referring client's business closes or changes ownership, unused credit lapses.

15. Restrictions.

Credit has no cash value and can't be combined with other offers or promotions. A referring client can't introduce themselves, a business they own or co-own, or a business that employs them. They also can't introduce anyone who co-owns the same business, is in a business partnership with them, or is employed by them. Businesses that are separate but linked in other ways, such as a self-employed chair renter and the salon owner, are treated as separate and can qualify.

16. Referring client's account.

We can only issue or apply credit while the referring client's own account with us is up to date. That means no overdue invoices and no project of theirs that has been cancelled for non-payment. If the account falls behind, credit is held until it's settled, and we'll release it once it is. Credit still lapses 12 months after it was issued, whether or not it was held in that time.

17. Consent and confirmation.

By making an introduction, the referring client confirms that the introduced client is happy for us to contact them, and that none of the exclusions in clause 15 apply.

18. Confidentiality.

We keep all client work confidential and won't share details of an introduced client's project with the referring client.

19. Record of credit.

We'll confirm each credit to the referring client by email, with its amount and expiry date. Our records are final.

20. Right to decline.

We're under no obligation to work with any introduced client. Every client relationship needs to be the right fit on both sides, and we may decline an introduction at our discretion. Credit is only earned when an introduced client completes a package with us, so no credit applies to an introduction we decline.

21. Misuse and final decisions.

We may withhold or withdraw credit where we reasonably believe the programme has been misused. Our decisions on eligibility and attribution are final.

22. Changes to these terms.

We reserve the right to amend these terms, or to change or end the programme, at any time. Amendments apply to introductions made after the change. Credit already issued remains valid until it expires.

23. Other arrangements.

Separate referral or partner arrangements are not covered by these terms.

24. Governing law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
